External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Monday held talks with his Dutch counterpart Casper Veldkamp in The Hague. He thanked the Netherlands for strongly condemning the Pahalgam attack and supporting zero tolerance against terrorism.
We had a comprehensive discussion on deepening bilateral partnership and cooperation with the European Union, Jaishankar said in a post on Twitter after the meeting. The Foreign Minister arrived in The Hague on Monday on the first leg of his six-day visit to the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Jaishankar’s visit is part of India’s ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at deepening strategic ties and enhancing cooperation with key European partners. During this visit, the Foreign Minister will meet the leadership of the three countries and hold discussions with his counterparts on bilateral relations and regional and global issues of mutual interest.
