Innocent citizens are being killed… India exposes Pakistan’s hypocrisy in the United Nations

INTERNATIONALInnocent citizens are being killed... India exposes Pakistan's hypocrisy in the United Nations

India exposed Pakistan’s hypocrisy at the United Nations, saying that a country which does not differentiate between terrorists and civilians has no right to talk about the safety of civilians. The Pakistani army deliberately shelled Indian border villages earlier this month, killing civilians.

India has faced Pakistan-sponsored terror attacks for decades, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish said at an open debate of the UN Security Council on Friday. This ranges from the 26/11 attack on the city of Mumbai to the brutal mass murder of innocent tourists in Pahalgam.

Harish said, the victims of Pakistani terrorism have mainly been civilians, as its aim has been to attack our prosperity, progress and morale. It is an insult to the international community for such a country to even participate in discussions on the safety of citizens.

Pakistan has repeatedly promoted terrorism under the guise of civilians. Recently we saw senior government, police and military officials attending the funerals of terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor. India told the Security Council that earlier this month the Pakistani army deliberately shelled Indian border villages, killing more than 20 civilians and injuring more than 80. Gurdwaras, temples, hospitals were also deliberately targeted.
