At the Indian Consulate, Shashi Tharoor explained how India destroyed terrorist bases in Pakistan. He called for the whole world to unite against terrorism. Referring to 9/11, Shashi Tharoor said that we are in a city that has suffered a terrorist attack. He said that terrorism is a global problem.
Paying tribute at the 9/11 memorial, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor told news agency ANI, “We went to the 9/11 memorial to give the message that New York too faced a terror attack 20 years ago and we have had the same experience. We want them to understand that there is a need for unity. We need to show the world our resolve, like the US, that we are against such terrorist attacks and we will take action.”
