Former minister Tej Pratap Yadav, who had brought disrepute to Lalu family by making his 12-year-old relationship public on Facebook a day earlier, has been expelled from RJD for six years. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad announced this by posting on his X handle on Sunday. He has shown Tej Pratap the way out from the party as well as the family. He has written that Tej Pratap will no longer have any role in family matters.
Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap is currently an MLA from Hasanpur and is currently touring Maldives. Meanwhile, his photo with his alleged girlfriend was made public from his Facebook account. However, later that post was deleted and Tej Pratap complained on his ex-handle about his Facebook account being hacked, but by then the party and the family had already been disgraced.
Sources reveal that in order to save his image, Tejashwi Yadav put pressure and Lalu announced his expulsion. However, this action shows that Lalu family is considering Tej Pratap’s love affair which has become public as a true matter. In the year 2018, Tej Pratap was married to Aishwarya, the granddaughter of former Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai and daughter of former minister Chandrika Rai. After a few months, the matter of divorce came up.
