NATIONALAttempt to attack US embassy in Israel, accused arrested

An attempt was made to burn down the US Embassy in Israel. Now the accused who tried to attack the US Embassy has been arrested. A man was arrested in New York on Sunday and deported by Israeli authorities, according to the US Justice Department.

Let us tell you that 28-year-old Joseph Neumayer, who holds dual citizenship of the United States and Germany, was detained at John F. Kennedy Airport. According to the US Justice Department, Neumayer had attempted to carry out a firebomb attack using Molotov cocktails and made violent threats online against Americans and US President Donald Trump.

Neumayer arrived in Israel last month and visited the US Embassy in Tel Aviv last week. According to Justice Department officials, he fought with a security guard outside the building and fled, dropping his bag when the guard tried to apprehend him.

The Justice Department said he posted on social media: “Join me in burning down the embassy in Tel Aviv. Death to America, death to Americans, and shame on the West.” He also threatened to assassinate Donald Trump in a separate post. Neumayer has claimed on his social media that he is the founder and CEO of a company called Atlas Light Company, though it is unclear what the company does.
