A decision of US President Donald Trump has angered Elon Musk, who is considered close to him. Musk has openly opposed a bill of the Trump government. He said that this will increase the budget deficit instead of reducing it and DOGE’s efforts will be in vain.
In fact, Musk has opened a front against Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’. He expressed his displeasure over the bill during an interview with news channel CBS News. Musk said that it can either be big or beautiful, but it cannot be both at the same time.
‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ has been introduced under Trump’s Golden Age vision. It mentions extending the tax cut made during Trump’s first term in 2017 for 10 years and increasing border security spending.Apart from this, the bill also proposes to increase the borrowing limit of the US government. The bill was passed by the US House of Representatives last week. Now it has been sent to the Senate.
