Karnataka Police has filed an FIR against cricketer Virat Kohli’s pub, One8 Commune in Bengaluru. This pub is located on the sixth floor of Ratnam Complex in Bengaluru. The Cubbon Park police have registered a case against Virat Kohli’s One 8 Commune Pub and Restaurant in Bengaluru for violating the COTPA Act (Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act).
A case has been registered against the pub under sections 4 and 21 of the COTPA Act because there is no designated smoking zone in the restaurant. It is being said that the necessary rules regarding the smoking area were not being followed in the pub.
