Recently, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team, was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. Under Dhoni’s captaincy, the Indian team won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ODI World Cup in 2011. The Indian team captained by Mahi lifted the Champions Trophy in 2013.
He announced his retirement from international cricket through a social media post in 2020. Along with Dhoni, Suresh Raina also said goodbye to international cricket. Suresh Raina, who played with Dhoni for a long time in the Indian team as well as in the IPL, has shared a special message for Dhoni.

Raina has shared a picture of Dhoni on Instagram. In the caption with this picture, he wrote, “Entry into the Legend Hall! Dhoni’s incredible career and contribution to cricket has earned him a place in the Hall of Fame.
From exquisite finishes to game-changing leadership, Dhoni bhai has left an indelible mark on the game. His calm demeanour, flamboyant attitude and unwavering commitment have inspired millions. A true icon and legend of the game, his legacy will continue to inspire generations of cricketers.” The ICC Hall of Fame includes cricketers who have made significant contributions to the game. Players are eligible to be inducted five years after their last international appearance. Dhoni played the last international match of his career in July 2019. Apart from Dhoni, Australian legend Matthew Hayden, South Africa’s Graeme Smith, Hashim Amla and New Zealand’s great spinner Daniel Vettori have also got a place in the ICC Hall of Fame.
