CIA One has produced Sunil of Israna, accused in the murder of Haryanvi model Sheetal alias Simmi Chaudhary, in the court and taken him on two-day remand. During the remand, the knife used in the crime will be recovered from him. He is being interrogated intensively.
During remand, he told that on Saturday night when they were returning to Panipat in the car after shooting, Sheetal was talking to a boy on mobile despite him stopping her. Probably this boy was Vishal. He got so angry at this that he stopped the car near Matalouda and took out a knife from the drawer and attacked her.Sheetal was defending herself by hitting her hands and legs. She was seriously injured after being stabbed in the neck. He put Simmi in the car in a agonized state and brought her to the canal.
He rolled down all the windows of the car and drove it into the canal. When the car was filled with water, he took Simmi out of the window and threw her into the canal. He came out by swimming. DSP Satish Vats resolved the entire issue by holding a press conference at the Mini Secretariat. DSP Satish Vats said that CIA One took Sunil in the car and reached Matalouda where the scene was recreated. While coming to Panipat on Saturday night, Simmi was sitting next to Sunil in the front seat of the car.
One of her sandals, her mobile, clothes and purse were also found here. Accused Sunil told the police during interrogation that Simmi had been ignoring him for the past several months.
