Ayesha Khan’s body was found in her flat in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. According to police, the police were informed after neighbours complained of a foul smell coming from the flat. Investigation revealed that Ayesha had died about a week ago, i.e. on 13 June 2025. Her body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for postmortem, but the postmortem was postponed until her son arrived from abroad.Currently, her body is kept in the mortuary of Edhi Foundation. Police say that Ayesha probably fell while coming out of the bathroom and died of natural causes.
