On Thursday, an emergency landing was made of IndiGo flight 6E 6764 going from Guwahati to Chennai. It is being said that the pilot took this decision due to lack of fuel in this plane. Actually, the pilot called for ‘fuel mayday’. Immediately after this, the plane was diverted to Bengaluru where the plane landed safely.
It is being said that congestion at Chennai airport prevented the plane from landing there on time. According to news agency ANI, there were passengers on board the plane during the emergency diversion. The flight landed safely in Bengaluru at 8:15 pm. This incident happened just a week after the Air India Dreamliner flight crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad. It is being told that there was a shortage of fuel in this plane, after which it was safely landed in Bengaluru.
