AXIOM-4 Mission will depart in a few moments. SpaceX, the company associated with this mission, has said that the weather is 90 percent favorable. Many countries have participated in this mission. Shubhanshu Shukla is a part of the mission crew from India. Indian Air Force Group Captain and Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will be the second Indian to go to space. Earlier in 1984, astronaut Rakesh Sharma had traveled to space. Rakesh Sharma had said from space, ‘Our India is better than the whole world’
Four astronauts are participating in this mission. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will be the pilot of this mission. The mission will be commanded by former NASA astronaut and Axiom Space human space flight director Peggy Whitson. In addition, European Space Agency project astronaut Slavoj Ujnański-Wisniewski (Poland) and Hungarian astronaut Tibor Kapu will join as mission specialists.
These four astronauts together will conduct several scientific experiments on the International Space Station. The Axiom-4 mission is a private astronaut mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The mission aims to direct around 60 scientific studies and activities on behalf of 31 countries. These countries are India, USA, Poland, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, and Europe. According to Axiom, this mission will be the second human space flight mission in the history of these countries
