‘In the end I had to run to daddy…’ Iranian foreign minister hits back at Trump’s statement

USA'In the end I had to run to daddy...' Iranian foreign minister hits back at Trump's statement

Although a ceasefire has been declared between Iran and Israel, the war of words between the two countries is still continuing. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Saturday condemned the statement of US President Donald Trump. Donald Trump made a controversial comment on Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying that Trump saved Khamenei from an ugly and horrible death.

Reacting to Trump’s statement, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, “If President Trump really wants to make a deal, he must stop making derogatory comments against Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. By doing this, they are hurting millions of Khamenei’s fans.” Sharing the tweet on social media platform X, Araghchi said- The people of Iran are great and powerful. They showed the world that when Israel had no option left to escape from our missiles, it immediately ran to daddy (America).

Let us tell you that US President Donald Trump shared a post on the social media platform Truth and wrote, “I knew where he (Ayatollah Khamenei) was hiding. I stopped the Israeli and American forces from attacking them. I saved them from an ugly and painful death. They don’t need to thank me for that.”

For the past few days, tensions have been seen between Israel and Iran. On the night of 13 June, Israel attacked Iran, after which Iran also retaliated fiercely. On June 22, America also jumped into this war and bombed Iran’s nuclear sites heavily. After 12 days of conflict, Iran and Israel agreed on a ceasefire.
