A free trade agreement has been signed between India and Britain. The free trade deal was signed during the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British PM Keir Starmer in London. After this agreement (India UK Free Trade Agreement), investment between the two countries will increase and employment opportunities will be created. At the same time, the economy of both the countries will be strengthened at the global level. Talks were going on between the two countries regarding the agreement for the last three years.
In simple terms, Bharat Coal will get tax-free export to the UK on 99% of its export products. At the same time, tariffs on 90% of products coming from India to Britain will be reduced or removed. After this agreement, medicines, electronics and even fashion items will become cheaper. However, the prices of some items will also increase.
