During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, JDU leader and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan alias Lallan Singh hit back at the Congress while defending the central government. He blamed the Congress for the growth of terrorism in the country and said that the UPA government had neither the courage nor the will to take action. Responding to the allegations of Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi, Lallan said that between 2004 and 2014, 615 people were killed and two thousand people were injured in terrorist incidents.
Lallan asked Gogoi where the terrorists of Mumbai attack in 2008 came from and what the government of that time was doing. Congress should have told all this too. Gaurav had asked where the terrorists of Pahalgam came from. JDU leader Lallan Singh, an ally of the BJP in the government, expressed surprise that Congress leader Gogoi did not say anything about the bravery of the army. He is only trying to find out how many Rafales India lost in the attack on Pakistan.
He accused the Congress of doing vote bank politics and said that Prime Minister Modi has taken decisive action in the national interest. Regarding the PM’s visit to Bihar after the Pahalgam incident, Lallan said that by speaking in English, Modi gave a message to the world that India is ready for a big fight against terrorism. They took action against the terrorist camps of Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. Our army shot down the enemy’s missiles in the air. Everyone saw that India did not suffer any loss.
