Renton, WA – September 26, 2025 – King County is asking residents, commuters, and businesses to share their input on road safety in unincorporated areas such as Skyway, Fairwood, East Renton, and Greater Maple Valley.
The King County Road Services Division has launched a survey to collect feedback on where roads feel safe—or unsafe—to the community. Responses will help county officials identify priority areas for improvement and guide future funding for transportation and safety projects.
Residents are encouraged to take the survey by Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at: publicinput.com/e00375.
Unincorporated King County includes regions such as Vashon Island, Maury Island, West King County, Bear Creek/Sammamish, Four Creeks/Tiger Mountain, Snoqualmie Valley/NE King County, Greater Maple Valley/Cedar River, and SE King County, where the county directly manages roads and infrastructure.
Officials say community participation is vital to ensure upcoming projects reflect real experiences and safety concerns.
