Seattle, WA — October 30, 2025:
Seattle Police detectives, working in coordination with federal law enforcement agents, have arrested a 28-year-old man wanted in connection with a September 5 drive-by shooting in North Seattle.
According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit (GVRU) spent several months investigating the case and developed probable cause to arrest the suspect, who has a violent criminal history. The incident occurred near North 102nd Street and Aurora Avenue North.
On October 29, a joint team — including GVRU detectives, officers from the Community Response Group, and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) — located the suspect at a gas station in the 14600 block of Tukwila International Boulevard. He was taken into custody without incident, and his vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation.
The suspect, a previously convicted felon, was booked into the King County Jail on charges of Drive-by Shooting and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, as he is legally prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
Authorities confirmed that the case remains an open and active investigation under the GVRU.
