USADaylight Saving Time Ends: Clocks ‘Fall Back’ One Hour Tonight

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Weather Service (NWS) is reminding Americans that Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Clocks should be set one hour back as the nation returns to standard time.

The NWS encourages everyone to use this time change as a reminder to replace batteries in smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, and NOAA Weather Radios. Officials also recommend checking emergency supply kits in vehicles and homes to ensure readiness for winter weather.

The change means earlier sunrises and sunsets, giving people an extra hour of sleep Sunday morning.
