The government talks about coordinating with the general public and making them a part of the development plan. But the situation is such that many times coordination is not established between the government’s own departments. Due to which the problem keeps increasing day by day. At present, many trees near Erki Grid on the road from Jehanabad to Gaya are inviting accidents. Earlier these trees were on the side of the road.
After the road has been widened, dozens of trees have come in the middle of the road. Due to which the possibility of an accident always remains. However, no major incident has happened so far. But the way the situation is, it can take people’s lives at any time. Seeing this situation, people passing by always wonder why these trees were not cut before the road widening process.
The situation is such that coordination could not be established between the State Road Construction Corporation and the Forest Department regarding cutting of these trees. The road construction department had to build the road within the time limit. The road was built but the trees stood in the middle like Yamraj. Regarding this, people of the road construction department say that we have already applied to the forest department for NOC to cut these trees.
But till now the order has not been received regarding this. In this regard, District Forest Area Officer Rituparna said that at the district level we have the right only to investigate. The process of NOC is operated from Gaya. Till now we have not received any order regarding this.Standing on the road becomes more dangerous in the dark of night
