Dozens of insurgents wielding guns and rockets stormed a police station and torched two bank branches in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province on Tuesday, killing a child and injuring nine others. While provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that an operation has been launched to nab the attackers. The banned organization BLA is suspected to be involved in the attack. Balochistan has long witnessed an insurgency by separatist organizations demanding independence.
