On Wednesday, footage of a flaming missile flying in the sky was seen on social media, seeing which people around the world were shocked and started asking what Iran had fired this time. “Is this a hypersonic glide vehicle?” one user asked on social media. Others compared it to a meteorite. But reports confirmed it was Iran’s Fattah Missile, a new hypersonic ballistic missile that can fly at speeds of up to Mach 15.
This missile penetrated Israel’s air defense system and triggered Israeli retaliatory air strikes on military sites inside Iranian territory. The war between the two countries continues for the sixth consecutive day.
Fatah Missile:
There has been a turning point in the ongoing war between Iran and Israel.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) called the deployment of the Fatah missile a turning point.
The solid-fueled missile reportedly penetrated Israeli defences and caused fires and damage in central parts of the country.
The powerful and highly maneuverable Fatah missiles have repeatedly struck the enemy country, sending a clear message of Iran’s might to Tel Aviv, which remains steeped in confusion and misperceptions
