Khamenei’s order to citizens, said- delete WhatsApp immediately

INTERNATIONALKhamenei's order to citizens, said- delete WhatsApp immediately

Amid the war with Israel, Iran has asked its citizens to uninstall WhatsApp. Iranian state television on Tuesday asked people to remove WhatsApp from their smartphones. It was claimed that WhatsApp has collected users’ data to send to Israel. Iran believes that WhatsApp has sent intelligence information to Israel and this information can be used by the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

In a statement, WhatsApp said it was “concerned that these false reports would serve as an excuse to block our services at a time when people need them most. WhatsApp uses end-to-end encryption. “We don’t track your exact location. We don’t keep a record of who everyone is messaging, and we don’t track the private messages people send to each other,” the statement said.

We do not provide information in bulk to any government.”
