Seattle — The Lower Spokane Street Bridge has officially reopened to traffic as of 12:20 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT).
The bridge, which serves as a critical link for commuters and freight between West Seattle and Harbor Island, had been temporarily closed earlier in the day. SDOT announced the reopening through its official social media account, confirming that normal traffic flow has now resumed.
Drivers are advised to expect some residual congestion as vehicles clear from detour routes.
