Seattle, WA – September 24, 2025 – A late-night police response in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man and the recovery of significant quantities of narcotics, cash, and a handgun, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident occurred on September 22 around 11:15 p.m., when patrol officers were dispatched to a report of property damage at a church in the 1000 block of Harvard Avenue. Upon arrival, officers encountered a group of individuals on the property.

During the investigation, police detained a man and discovered he was in possession of a firearm. Officers quickly identified him as a convicted felon with two active warrants. When asked about a Concealed Pistol License, the suspect reportedly told officers he “did not even know what a CPL was,” according to the police report.

Drugs, Cash, and Firearm Recovered

A subsequent search of the suspect led to the recovery of:

  • 17.7 grams of Cocaine

  • 65.6 grams of Fentanyl

  • 61.9 grams of Methamphetamine

  • 1.2 grams of Black Tar Heroin

  • 2.1 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms

  • $1,156 in Cash

  • One Handgun

Police confirmed the suspect, who has multiple felony convictions, is legally prohibited from possessing firearms. He was arrested and booked into the King County Jail on multiple weapons and narcotics violations.

Seattle police officers recovered drugs, cash, and a gun as evidence of a crime.

Second Arrest Made

In the course of the investigation, officers also arrested a 42-year-old woman wanted on an outstanding warrant. She was booked into SCORE Jail.

The case has been assigned to detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, who continue to investigate.
