USASeattle Police Arrest Man Accused of Harassing West Seattle Business

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle police arrested a 42-year-old convicted felon last week after repeated incidents of harassment targeting a West Seattle travel agency.

Officers were dispatched around 9:50 a.m. on Nov. 5 to the 3700 block of Southwest Alaska Street for a reported Court Order violation. According to police, the man had been repeatedly harassing employees—mocking them, making threatening gestures, and engaging in other inappropriate behavior.

Authorities said the suspect is well-known to law enforcement and has previously been trespassed from several nearby businesses. Past incidents allegedly involved narcotics activity, brandishing a firearm, and physical altercations with officers. His criminal history includes felony convictions for assault, harassment involving threats to kill, and drug offenses.

One employee of the travel agency documented the harassment through recorded video and successfully obtained an Anti-Harassment Order issued by a judge. The order prohibits the man from contacting, threatening, or approaching the business within 1,000 feet.

While investigating the complaint on Nov. 5, officers located the suspect approximately 350 feet from the business—well within the restricted distance. He was arrested for violating the court order.

During the arrest, police recovered methamphetamine, adding a narcotics violation to the case. Officers also discovered an outstanding $1,500 warrant for property destruction.

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail.
