The Kolkata High Court has ordered Mohammad Shami to pay Rs 4 lakh per month to his wife Hasin Jahan and daughter Ayra after the divorce. Mohammad Shami will have to pay this amount for monthly maintenance. The hearing of this case of Shami was held on 21 April 2025, on which the verdict came on 1 July 2025.
According to the order, Haseen Jahan will get Rs 1.50 lakh and daughter Ayra will get Rs 2.50 lakh per month. This amount will be applicable for the last seven years. At the same time, the lower court has been directed to settle the case in six months.
The Calcutta High Court has also ordered the lower court to dispose of this case within the next six months. Mohammad Shami and Hasin Jahan got married on April 7, 2014. About a year after the marriage, on July 17, 2015, the couple gave birth to a daughter. After the birth of his daughter Ayra, Shami came to know that Haseen Jahan was already married and she also had two children from her first marriage.
Mohammed Shami’s wife accused the cricketer and his family of violence. After this, the hearing in this case is going on since 2018. The decision on this has already come. But the amount that Shami’s wife was getting seemed less, so she approached the court.
