Drivers across Eastern Washington are being urged to use extra caution Wednesday morning as snowfall continues to affect road conditions. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation’s eastern region team, plow crews are actively treating and clearing major highways.
WSDOT is asking motorists to give snowplows plenty of space to operate safely. A roadway camera image shared by the agency shows fresh snow along U.S. Route 2, with plow trucks working to keep lanes passable.
Officials remind drivers to slow down, use caution, and stay alert for changing conditions as winter weather impacts travel throughout the region.
