Gurdwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib has invited the sangat and local community to attend a special religious and cultural program on Sunday, May 10th, in Kent, Washington. The event will commemorate Shaheedi Jor Mela of Sri Muktsar Sahib, celebrate Mother’s Day in honor of Mata Sahib Kaur, and recognize the birthday remembrance of Jassa Singh Ramgarhia.
The program will begin at 9:00 AM with Asa Di Vaar and Kirtan at Darbar Sahib, followed by kirtan, katha, and kavishri performances by respected Sikh religious speakers and artists. Organizers have encouraged all community members and families to attend, take blessings, and participate in Guru Ka Langar, which will be served after the program.
The event reflects the Sikh community’s continued dedication toward preserving heritage, spirituality, unity, and seva while bringing the local community together in celebration and remembrance.
