Israel attacked Iran’s nuclear installations with missiles and drones on the morning of June 13. Israel named this military action ‘Operation Rising Lion’. Even though Israel had opened a front against Iran. But America was also keeping a close eye on this military action. Actually, Israel and America have the same objective that is to stop Iran from making nuclear weapons at any cost.
During the military action, the Israeli army was continuously bombing different cities of Iran, but it was not easy for Israel to attack three important nuclear sites of Iran. These three nuclear sites were Natanz, Isfahan and Fordo. On one hand, the military conflict between Israel and Iran was going on, while on the other hand, America was planning to destroy these three bases.
On the morning of 22 June, the US dropped bombs on these three nuclear bases. The US attacked all three bases using its most powerful bunker-piercing bomb GBU-57 MOP through B-2 Spirit stealth bombers. This attack has caused massive damage to all three nuclear plants of Iran. America claimed that Iran’s dream of making nuclear weapons has been shattered due to this attack.
The US also said that Iran cannot make a nuclear bomb for a long time. However, Iran claimed that the US attacks have not had much impact on their nuclear program. Many theories have also emerged that Iran had shifted the material related to nuclear weapons somewhere else before the attack. But the satellite images that have emerged after the attack on three nuclear bases support Trump’s claims. It can be seen in satellite images that all three nuclear installations have suffered massive damage.
