After Hitler’s death, most of the Nazi leaders either committed suicide or fled. Similarly, Eichmann also fled. After this, Israel became a new country in 1948 and the entire form of Mossad changed.
Meanwhile, in 1957, Mossad received a secret information that Eichmann was living in Argentina under a changed name. This is where Operation Finale began. At that time there was no extradition treaty between Argentina and Israel. This meant that it was impossible to bring him legally, so Mossad started planning to bring him in its own way.
