Why did Donald Trump say this while warning European countries?

POLITICS & LAWSWhy did Donald Trump say this while warning European countries?

After cracking down on illegal refugees in America, President Donald Trump now has his eyes on Europe. He has advised European countries to stop immigration. Trump has also called it a “terrible invasion”. Speaking to the media at the Air Force Station in Scotland, Trump warned European countries, saying that there is an urgent need to stop this “terrible attack”.

According to Trump, “You all must take action together on immigration. Otherwise, Europe will be destroyed. People from many countries are coming and settling in Europe. You have to stop this ‘terrible invasion’.” Some people don’t want to stop immigration. I can name them right now if I want. But I don’t want to embarrass anyone. Rising immigration is destroying Europe.

Referring to the closure of the US-Mexico border, Trump said, “You know, after last month, no one can enter our country. We also released many illegal immigrants from the country.” According to a United Nations report in 2020, around 87 million (8 crore 70 lakh) international migrants live in Europe. Trump started cracking down on illegal migrants right after taking power in the US in January.
