USACity of Kent Offers Free “Talking Trash” Events to Help Residents Dispose of Hard-to-Toss Items

Kent, WA — The City of Kent is encouraging residents to clear out unwanted items through its Talking Trash events, a free community program designed to help safely and responsibly dispose of difficult-to-throw-away materials.

The events are open at no cost to Kent residents and accept a wide variety of tough-to-toss items that typically cannot be placed in regular curbside bins. City officials say the program helps reduce illegal dumping while promoting environmentally responsible disposal.

Residents are encouraged to review accepted items, event dates, and additional details before attending.

More information about upcoming Talking Trash events is available at kentwa.gov/talkingtrash.
